My mother was narrating a story from a book to Tejaswi 2 days back. There was a monkey family. The mother monkey was blind. The 2 son monkeys used to feed her daily. One day a hunter killed all of them. But when he went home he found that his house was burnt and God had punished him for his deeds. I personally didn't like this story but this is how most of the moral story books are in the stores. Anyways.., the question that my son asked immediately was "It was the hunter who killed the monkeys. Why should God punish his family instead. The family was infact good. So who is bad..the hunter or God?"....hm..answers welcome people!

ReplyDeleteSo it means,If we are bad, god is gonna punish not just us, but our ppl too... as they say, good and bad deeds are carried over to ur offsprings and family!
ReplyDeleteBe good to save oneself, family and surroundings!
Hope this helps mam :) ;).....
Looks like God was a little off-target here!
ReplyDeleteNalla Kelvi.. Idha Thanjavur kal vettula eludhi vekkalaam.. Pir kaala sangadhiyinar, adha paathu padhichu theliva nadandhuppanga :D
ReplyDeleteMay be we can perceive it as below -
ReplyDeleteMay be death was not the supreme thing that can happen to man (of course it is an inevitable one).
May be the supreme consciousness wants the hunter to feel the loneliness that some left over survivor of the monkey tribe may feel...
:):)
I wish Jagannathan sir was here in blog too! Used to love his vedic chanting classes.. Is there any way that he is here and I don't know? It'll be great if anyone could let us know. Thanks Sir and Ma'm!
