Visit to Chidambaram

It was a "janma sabalyam" to see Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu at the same place...both equally powerful shrines at the chidambram temple.

Here is One who is making the cosmos dance and to His right is the one who is reclining..the entire philosophy of life seems to be there..right there..

We reached the chidambram temple at around 4.00pm..the path to the shrine is a huge pathway..you see vastness all around..
the natraja idol is small beautiful one.
The highlight was the offering of sounds(nada) at 6.00pm. 2 huge bells and hundreds of small bells all at the same time..all you can see and feel is "nada"..the entire atmosphere reverbrates with the sound..man! its a horripilating experience..if you are even a little bit sensitive you can feel the entire place dancing or vibrating or whatever you may call it..lord vishnu is the right there calm and composed just observing the order in the chaos thats momentarily created..
Lord natraja is the eye of this entire storm...totally absorbed..undisturbed..its we who go through a million things(wanted and unwanted)..He is just there..simply there...

Needless to say..its an architectural marvel..
