You and Inner You

lets assume that you read my previous post and started spending sometime with yourself daily..

m sure all of you who read this post will be able to relate to it..and i bet ..its going on in your mind right now..this is a dialogue between YOU and your INNER SELF

you: I have been entering new organizations during every phase of life..school, then college then work etc etc..seemed interesting for few days..now m really bored..m not satisfied..

INNER YOU:let us try to dissect this issue(tho' really not a big issue)..

both of you agree to discuss this issue:
INNER YOU: why did you go to school

YOU: hm...coz my pa asked me to do..everyone around me did that...i never really thought "Why"?
INNER YOU: how bt college?
YOU: same..this time it was my brother in the US..hes with an IT giant and said I may get there one day..
INNER YOU: how abt work..
YOU: I really dont know..i just got there coz my college wanted me to graduate with a job..i tried a few interesting things but hm..social and family pressures...m here..
INNER YOU: aha!!..you did all this without knowing why you did it???..if you are a child absolutely care free then it makes sense coz anything you do need not make sense..you just do it.. but once you grow up then intellect sharpens and needs to be satisfied..it can't accept "I-really-dont-know"...say you are pushed into th cricket field by someone else, you dont know the rules nor do you have a purpose..you just swing your bat here and there but still manage to make a few runs..and at the end of the whole game you cry that u were not made the "man of match"..doesnt this sound crazy.. first of all it was not your choice..secondly you didnt understand the purpose nor did you have a goal..then you cry on top of this.,
YOU:okie stop stop..stop making me feel guilty about the whole thing..
INNER YOU: I think having a higher purpose in life will make you happier..
YOU: like what... going to the moon??
INNER YOU: not that high..beyond that..
YOU: stop being cryptic
INNER YOU: when you have a higher purpose in life ..then whatever you do will be more meaningful and satisfying..
YOU: illustration..illustration plz..
INNER YOU: say you want to set up a school for the poor..but you are in a job that demands 24x7 focus...you could always take it this way..every bit i LEARN and EARN will be helping me achieve my goal...i have a purpose for wht i am doing tho i didnt have much choice..if i work more, i earn more, then i set up the school quicker..if i spend time on training..i learn more i set up the school quicker..i get a lot of free time..i contact people..i start working towards the school..
YOU: sounds good..
INNER YOU: i know...but but but..
YOU: BUTTTTTTTTTTT???..
the voice is gone..you have to get back to work...until it comes the next time..
