During my yoga classes on campus I get to see people with a variety of body types..some are rubber bands, some are like wooden blocks and some are somewhere in between. But all of them are really regular in attending the classes :-)....
One needs to understand that there is an obvious association between the body and mind. Just close you eyes and imagine that you are eating a juicy mango. You automatically start salivating.
All the problems that u face are very similar. You imagine them to be there and the body starts reacting to it (sweat, headache, nausea etc). A physical release/vent is required to burn these toxins that accumulate and yoga comes handy here. Yoga is not about standing upright. Its about a way of life.
Just as your mind influences your body, your body also influences the mind.
Taking a brisk and confident walk before an exam will help you better than a sluggish 'do-i-have-to-really-go-there' kinda walk. Try this and lemme know!!
Why is it important to know oneself and how to do it..
M not a saint to give directions..i shall try it in my own small way:
you look at the mirror daily to know "this is me"...you know what ur face looks like by looking at the mirror, you know what ur hand looks like hmm..you dont have to look at the mirror for that..:-)..these are external appearances. The only way by which you can know urself is by looking within yourself..to be with yourself for a moment and knowing who you are..
there is no external mirror to know urself (pranams to gurus who can make this possible in less than a moment).
close your eyes and spend sometime with yourself everyday (5 mins..10mins..20 mins..) ..
we look at the world with our own perceptions....we say "he is a bad person" according to our definition of bad..so spending time with urself will give you more clarity in looking at others..
try it let me know!!
Good one :)!!!
